My practice is informed by my experience in a wide range of clinical settings; I’ve provided both short-term problem oriented treatment on an inpatient basis and long-term supportive therapy on an outpatient basis. My employment history includes psychiatric research at Massachusetts General Hospital, and therapeutic services in group practice, private practice, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric settings.
I obtained my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Honors in my major of Psychology from Colby College in Waterville Maine. While in college, I was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
In their 2018 print edition of the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, I was honored as a Top Social Worker in Chicago by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. I was selected in 2022 in the “Best of Chicago” awards by the Chicago Award program for Best Psychotherapist. Global Health and Pharma named me “Most Dedicated Dialectical Behavior Therapy Practice – Midwest USA” in their 2022 Mental Health Awards
Prior to working as a therapist, I coordinated research on effective treatments for chronic depression.
